Job Description:

This role involves serving as the visible representative of the company at events, showcasing products and services to prospects, driving business development through direct interactions, and supporting recruitment efforts to build internal talent pipelines. The associate will engage with potential clients, highlight company offerings, contribute to lead generation and relationship building, and assist in sourcing, screening, and onboarding candidates, acting as the "face" of the company in professional and talent acquisition settings.

Key Responsibilities

Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, webinars, and promotional events by delivering engaging presentations and demonstrations of products to attract and educate prospects.

Interact with attendees and potential clients to identify business opportunities, qualify leads, and foster relationships that support sales and partnerships.

Collaborate with marketing, sales, and executive teams to develop event strategies, including agendas, branding materials, and follow-up plans to ensure cohesive messaging and revenue capture.

Manage on-site event logistics, such as booth setup, vendor coordination, and promotional item distribution, while tracking attendance, engagement metrics, and ROI for post-event reporting.

Assist in preparing sales pitches, proposals, and collateral materials tailored to event audiences, and follow up with leads via email, calls, or CRM to convert interactions into opportunities.

Build and maintain client databases, analyze market trends, and provide feedback on customer needs to inform product improvements and future event planning.

Support recruitment initiatives by sourcing and screening candidates for internal roles through events, job boards, and networks; conduct initial interviews and reference checks to build a talent pipeline.

Coordinate recruitment events, such as career fairs or webinars, and collaborate with hiring managers to develop job descriptions, ensure positive candidate experiences, and track hiring metrics.

Maintain accurate records of recruitment activities in applicant tracking systems (ATS), stay updated on talent acquisition trends, and contribute to onboarding processes for new hires.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Human Resources, or a related field.

1-3 years of experience in event coordination, sales, client-facing roles, or recruitment, preferably in business development or promotional events.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong presentation abilities to confidently showcase products, handle prospect inquiries, and conduct candidate interviews.

Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., HubSpot or Salesforce), Microsoft Office, event management tools, and ATS platforms (e.g., for tracking candidates) to manage leads and recruitment data.

Ability to travel for events (1-2 weeks per year) and work flexible hours, including weekends, in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills

Outgoing personality with interpersonal skills to build rapport quickly, represent the brand professionally, and engage both prospects and candidates effectively.

Knowledge of marketing research techniques, sales strategies, and recruitment best practices to apply insights during prospect interactions and talent sourcing.

Organizational skills for managing multiple projects, deadlines, and vendor relationships under pressure, including dual responsibilities in events and hiring.

Familiarity with industry-specific trends (e.g., e-commerce or tech products) and talent market dynamics to tailor demonstrations and recruitment efforts.
