1. Candidate Profile: HNIs, retired professionals, and housewives seeking passive income in their second innings, with flexible working hours.
2. IRDAI Training & Licensing:
Training for IRDAI certification will be provided by us free of cost. However, the IRDAI examination fee and license fee shall be borne by the candidate directly, as per prevailing IRDAI rules.
3. Commission Structure: Candidates onboarded as Insurance Advisors will be eligible for commission as per Kotak Mahindra Life Insurance Co. Ltd. norms:
Policy Year Commission % on First Year Premium Renewal Commission %
1st Year Up to 35% -
2nd Year - Up to 7.5%
3rd Year - Up to 7.5%
4th Year onwards - Up to 5%
_Note: 1. Commission % varies as per product category, PPT, and prevailing IRDAI guidelines.
1. All commissions subject to TDS and statutory deductions.
2. Persistency bonus/incentives as per company policy._
4. Onboarding Process for Candidates:
1. Documentation: Candidate to submit KYC - PAN Card, Aadhaar Card, Address Proof, 2 Photos, Cancelled Cheque, Educational Certificate (Min. 12th Pass).
2. IRDAI Training: 25 hours of mandatory online/offline training provided by us free of cost.
3. IRDAI Exam: Candidate to appear for IC-38 exam. Exam fee approx. ₹950-₹1250 to be paid by candidate directly to IRDAI.
4. License Issuance: On passing exam, IRDAI License issued.
5. Company Coding: After license, candidate will be coded with Kotak Life as Insurance Advisor.
6. Product Training: 2-day product & sales process training before field work.
7. Payout: Commission credited directly to advisor’s bank account monthly after policy issuance & premium realization.
