Job Description:

Role Summary

The Mechanical Designer will be responsible for developing 2D/3D models, drawings, and mechanical designs for components, assemblies, and systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Create detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, etc.).

• Understand and implement design requirements from engineers and clients.

• Perform design calculations, tolerance analysis, and material selection.

• Prepare assembly drawings, part lists, and Bill of Materials (BOM).

• Support manufacturing and production teams with design clarifications.

• Participate in design reviews, prototyping, and product improvements.

• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and engineering standards.

Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, CATIA, NX, etc.).

• Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles, GD&T, and drafting standards.

• Problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

• 2–5 years of relevant experience (freshers with strong design knowledge can also apply).
