Role & Responsibilities:

1. Manage the IT infrastructure setup, focusing on IT Infrastructure, Security, and Anti-virus requirements at WPD.
2. Oversee WPD locations' server functionality to ensure high availability for business operations.
3. Administer data centre operations, including server backup and restoration processes.
4. Handle server, laptop, and desktop patch updates, firmware, and driver maintenance.
5. Supervise LAN and WAN operations at WPD.
6. Implement and manage Engine for Asset Management and Network Monitoring.
7. Manage printers, desktops, and laptops at WPD.
8. Oversee the Helpdesk ticket system, manage engine, and asset management.
9. Plan and technically evaluate IT solutions and projects, supporting procurement processes within the approved budget.
10. Manage standard software licensing for Microsoft, Adobe, ACAD, etc.
11. Evaluate and implement new technologies to enhance our IT infrastructure.
12. Manage NAS Backup, the latest technology replacing old tape backup systems.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• 8-13 years of experience in IT Infrastructure and Support.
• Educational background in B.Sc/BE/B.Tech/Diploma.
• Expertise in Server Administration, LAN/WAN Networking, System Administration, Data Center Administration, Backup & Recovery, Server Management, and Active Directory.
